Changes in Library Media Center Policies
Thanks to all the donations from parents and the books that I have purchased with the money from the Barnes & Noble Book Fair, we have increased our collection by 19% in 8 months! This means that I can now change our policy and allow students to check out not two, but three books at the same time! This is effective starting Monday, February 1st, 2010.
However, "with great power comes great responsibility", so the overdue fine policy will also change. The fee will increase from 5 cents per day per book to 15 cents per day per book, with a 2-day grace period. The fee change will start the day after the first President’s Day, on Tuesday 16th, February, 2010. Be sure to bring your books back on time!
