My name is Erin Drake and I am the Instructional Assistant assigned to the Special Education Department here at Natomas Charter School.  I am excited to be working as a member of the Student Support Staff.  I feel privileged to work with the wonderful students, faculty, staff, and parents who make Natomas Charter School the model for excellence that it truly is.
When I am not here at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I find puttering in my garden irresistible as I have a passion for flowers and birds.  Additionally, my hobbies include decorating, cooking, entertaining, and traveling during the summer months.  
I have approximately ten years experience working in the educational field, with five of those years dedicated to Special Education in the support role as an Instructional Assistant. I enjoy working directly with students in pursuit of their academic success and I strive to provide positive reinforcement as I assist them with their educational needs.  Working in education is amazing and I am proud to say that it is one of the greatest joys of my life.  I look forward to working with both returning and new students in the years to come.
