What can my librarian do for me?

Here is what the Library Staff can do for you:

    * teach you how to use Destiny, our online catalog. You can start with the PowerPoint Presentation on Destiny here ; but please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Prettol with your questions.
    * teach you how to use Big Chalk, our online research database. You can start with the PowerPoint Presentation on Big Chalk here; but please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Prettol with your questions.
    * teach you about Big 6, a research model for students
    * make presentations regarding: doing research on the internet, staying safe on the internet, copyright, fair use, plagiarism.
    * do book talks (on any particular subject)
    * help  you find resources
    * help  you coordinate events (not just about books! Community service, social actions…)
    * help  coordinate summer reading programs, independent reading programs, etc…
